§ 1 Scope
These Terms apply to all contracts concluded via this website between Bodhi Cita Records, owner Nhu Lai Dinh, Zugspitzstraße 4, 85591 Vaterstetten, Germany (“we”) and consumers as well as entrepreneurs (“customer”). A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession (§ 13 German Civil Code, BGB).
§ 2 Conclusion of contract
The presentation of products in the shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to order. The ordering process works as follows:
- You add the desired items (with size, colour or model where applicable) to the cart.
- During checkout you enter contact, delivery and payment details and choose the shipping method.
- On the review page you see all details, the total price including shipping costs and references to these Terms and the Right of Withdrawal. Input errors can be corrected there via the “Edit”/“Back” controls or the browser navigation.
- By clicking the button “Order with obligation to pay” (German: “Zahlungspflichtig bestellen”) you submit a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart.
Immediately after your order you automatically receive an order confirmation by email; with this order confirmation we accept your offer and the purchase contract is concluded. We store the contract text (order data and Terms) and send it to you by email with the order confirmation; it is no longer retrievable via the website after the order is completed. The contract language is German; an English translation is provided on mahasamadhi.com, in case of doubt the German version prevails.
§ 3 Made to order (print on demand & handcraft)
Our wall art, cards and music-merch items are produced only after your order, on our behalf, by production partners (Gelato, Printful) and shipped directly to you. Buddha statues, busts, amulets and pictures from our workshop are made to individual order – insofar as we offer them in the shop; delivery time here is 4–6 weeks from conclusion of the contract. Minor deviations in colour and texture caused by material or production do not constitute a defect as long as they are customary and reasonable for you.
§ 4 Prices & shipping costs
All prices are in Euro including statutory VAT and excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs depend on product group and destination and are listed on Shipping & Payment; they are shown to you before you place the order. For deliveries outside the EU, customs duties, taxes and fees may additionally apply and are borne by the recipient.
§ 5 Payment
Payment is made by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay. The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract (order confirmation); your payment method is charged at that moment or – for Klarna – according to the terms of Klarna Bank AB. No additional fees are charged for any payment method.
§ 6 Delivery, delivery time & passing of risk
We ship worldwide (exception: the scented-candle collection ships within the USA only). Delivery times per product group and destination are stated on Shipping & Payment and on every product card; the period starts on the day after the contract is concluded (order confirmation). Items from different product groups may be delivered in separate shipments without additional shipping costs. For consumers, the risk of accidental loss or deterioration of the goods passes only upon handover to you. If an item is exceptionally unavailable, we inform you immediately and refund any payments already made without delay.
§ 7 Retention of title
The goods remain our property until paid in full.
§ 8 Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The details – period, form, consequences, return costs and exclusions – are set out in our Right of Withdrawal including the model withdrawal form. You may also declare the withdrawal via our withdrawal function “Withdraw from contract”, reachable at the bottom of every page; we confirm receipt immediately by email.
§ 9 Warranty
Statutory warranty rights apply (§§ 434 et seq. BGB); for consumers the limitation period is two years from delivery. Please report transport damage, misprints or defects as soon as possible with a photo to info@bodhicitarecords.com – in these cases we send you a free replacement. Such a report is voluntary and does not affect your statutory rights. We do not give guarantees in the legal sense unless expressly agreed.
§ 10 Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and under the German Product Liability Act. In case of slightly negligent breach of essential contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is a prerequisite for the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance you may regularly rely), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise liability for slight negligence is excluded.
§ 11 Copyright and trademarks
All motifs, designs, musical works and texts are protected by copyright and trademark law. By purchasing an item you acquire ownership of the physical product but no rights of use in the motifs (e.g. for reproduction or commercial exploitation).
§ 12 Dispute resolution

§ 13 Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the state of your habitual residence. Should individual provisions of these Terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
